On August 9, 2009 I challenged myself to create an ACEO painting each and every day for an entire year. ACEO stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals. ACEOs can be in any medium but they must be 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches in size.
I am happy to say that on August 10, 2010 I completed that project. I did not miss one day of painting for the entire year.
Part of the project was to blog each day about the creative process involved with challenging myself and my artistic blocks. Some days the paintings flowed together easily and effortlessly. Other days it was a struggle just to decide what to paint. In the end though it was the best thing I could have ever done to blow away my limiting beliefs and blocks towards creating.
